The story of one of the largest in Argentina had a birth.
Birth
The genesis of Boca has its starting point in a team of South Independence neighborhood friends, formed by Italian immigrants in La Boca. Juan Antonio and Theodore Farenga, Alfredo Scarpatti, Santiago Sana, and Esteban Baglietto Artemio Carrega wanted to give formality to his initiative and began to think about forming a club. The first discussions took place in the Plaza Solís. The next day continued to discuss at the home of Bagley. The name and color of the shirt were topics of discussion. Discarded Sons of Italy and Stars of La Boca, Santiago Sana finished the final shape: Boca, who decided to give the English touch adding the time the Juniors. Finally, on April 3, 1905 would form the first committee and the club would officially established its first Chairman Esteban Baglietto.
The venue was moved and had more to do with the homes of its founders. But the pitch was the same as used in South Independence Pedro de Mendoza and Colorado (now Benito Perez Galdos). The debate over the color of the shirt will not stop easily. From a pink color that had to endure countless jokes, to a white with blue vertical stripes until a club member, John Brichetto, who worked at the port of Buenos Aires, saw colors Flag of a Swedish ship.
